Exectuve education
The continuing and executive education activity focuses on developing, in Canada, a portfolio of technical and executive training programs tailored to the local ecosystem. They are built on close collaboration between African and Canadian experts and aim to enhance skills in strategic areas related to technological sovereignty, sustainable development, and innovation. Designed in partnership with leading Canadian academic institutions, these programs reflect a shared commitment to building bridges of knowledge between continents, while promoting knowledge transfer, capacity building, and South-North and North-South exchange of expertise.
To this end, we are deploying a diversified and targeted range of programs:
- The implementation of certified training programs tailored to the needs of the mining, agricultural, energy, and technology sectors, leveraging the expertise and educational content developed by UM6P. This approach enables the rollout in Canada of high value-added modules, such as the Executive Master in Green Hydrogen, addressing shared priorities in energy transition, industrial innovation, and sustainable development.
- The integration of hybrid learning methods (in-person, e-learning, augmented reality) to ensure optimal accessibility for all learners.
- The development of thematic bootcamps led by experts from both continents, addressing targeted issues such as climate resilience, water management, and digital transformation.
- The inclusion of African case studies and experiences in courses to enrich perspectives and foster a more global and inclusive approach to skills development.
- The development, in partnership with Canadian business schools, of modules dedicated to deepening knowledge of Africa—its economic, institutional, and cultural dynamics, as well as the drivers of Canada-Africa business development. These modules aim to train decision-makers and entrepreneurs capable of engaging strategically with the continent, within a framework of equitable partnership and shared innovation.
