Official Inauguration of UM6P Global Hubs Canada.
Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P) has launched its new branch, UM6P Global Hubs Canada, in Montréal. This expansion aims to create a globally connected research environment and foster collaborations that will accelerate capacity building and knowledge transfer across both sides of the Atlantic.
The event was attended by more than 140 guests, including Her Excellency Ms. Souriya Otmani, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco to Canada, and Ms. Pascale Déry, Quebec’s Minister of Higher Education. By building on strong partnerships with leading Canadian universities such as UQAM, Université Laval, Université de Sherbrooke, University of Alberta, and University of Manitoba, UM6P Global Hubs Canada will promote transcontinental impact through research, development, executive education, and entrepreneurship.
As a networking and collaboration platform, UM6P Global Hubs Canada will actively contribute to North America’s innovation ecosystem by supporting advancements in agriculture, energy, mining, artificial intelligence, and sustainable development. The hub will foster knowledge exchange, technology transfer, and skills enhancement, with the goal of generating tangible outcomes such as business agreements, patents, and new ventures, while bridging academic institutions, industry stakeholders, and strategic partners.
